At St Mary’s Catholic Primary School Concord, a variety of wellbeing programs are implemented at point of need. Programs include: mindfulness sessions, classroom bucket fillers, Mind Up, onsite school counsellor and opportunities for students to set goals with a resilience focus.
Our health program also incorporates a variety of social and emotional learning strategies to provide them with lifelong wellbeing skills. Professional development opportunities for staff are also provided to help them understand and foster both student and staff wellbeing.
The Australian Student Wellbeing Framework underpins all our wellbeing practices. These strategies aim to develop whole school resilience to flourish in a changing world.
